Welcome to My Month. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the My Month website, application, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using My Month, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

My Month is a private newsletter service. It lets you write a monthly letter and have it mailed, on a schedule, to a list of recipients you choose — your family and friends, not the public. Letters are not published to a public feed and are only visible to the people on your list.

We may update, modify, or discontinue portions of the Service at any time.

2. User Accounts

To use the Service, you create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Your Content

You may write, upload, and store letters and other written content through the Service ("Your Content").

You retain ownership of Your Content.

By using the Service, you grant My Month a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and deliver Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service — that is, to send your letters to the recipients on your list. We do not read your letters, sell them, or use them for advertising.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content:

• Does not violate applicable laws
• Does not infringe upon the rights of others
• Does not contain harmful, abusive, or misleading material

You are also responsible for the recipients you add to your list, and for having a reasonable basis to send letters to them.

My Month reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

My Month is a paid subscription. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe. My Month does not store or process your full payment card information.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal activities
• Send letters to people who have not agreed to hear from you, or use the Service to send spam
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with Service security or operation
• Upload malicious code
• Abuse, harass, or impersonate others

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Service or other users.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep My Month reliable but do not guarantee the Service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. My Month disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Month will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
